Alentejo region is subdivided into eight regions, which are: “Borba”, “Évora”, “Redondo” and “Reguengos” highlight references in fresh and fruity Alentejo wines, valued for its balance, energy, harmony and smoothness. The sub-regions of Granja-Amareleja, Moura and Vidigueira, South denomination, offer more warm and soothing wines, with poor and dry lands where the vineyards suffer with the harshness of the climate and the soil poverty.
